Trust · Governance and the record
Five gates, an evidence state on every value, a signed record for every batch.
This page states what is checked, who decides, what the system refuses to do, and what we have not certified yet.
01 · Provenance
Every input is traceable.
Every input is traceable to a verified reference, a supplier specification, an equipment data sheet, or a run on a named line.
A value with no verified source is not admitted. That refusal happens at stage 01, before a candidate can be built on it.
02 · Evidence states
No figure is displayed without its evidence state.
Five states, ordered by how much reality is behind them. They appear on marketing pages and inside the product alike, on every figure.
- 01SOURCEDTraced to a verified reference, supplier spec or equipment sheet.
- 02GENERATEDProposed by the model. Nothing simulated or built.
- 03SIMULATEDPassed the digital twin. No material committed.
- 04BENCH-TESTEDPhysically produced at lab or pilot scale.
- 05LINE-VERIFIEDProduced and released on a connected production line.
Where a case is modelled rather than measured, the card says so on its face. This honesty is the differentiator, so we set it plainly rather than in a footnote.
03 · The envelope
The envelope
The model states where it is valid and refuses outside it. Asked for a setpoint beyond the equipment's validated envelope, it returns "outside my envelope" rather than extrapolating.
Confidence derives from verified runs on that equipment class, not from how fluent the answer sounds.
04 · Human authority
Human authority
Five gates. At each one an expert can approve, reject, request changes, annotate, explain an exception or assign a follow-up — and the reason is preserved.
Expert override is always available. The full decision history stays queryable years later.
AI explores and evaluates. Experts approve and decide.
The five gates
Nutrition envelope, cost ceiling, allergen and regulatory constraints are agreed before any candidate is generated.
A brief with an unverified ingredient specification does not pass.

05 · Reproducibility
Reproducibility
Models are versioned and setpoint packages are deterministic: the same inputs produce the same package.
When a recommendation changes, you get a diff and a stated reason — not a different answer with no explanation.
06 · The record and the boundary
The record and the boundary
A cryptographically signed certificate of analysis per batch, a timestamped batch record with a full event log, one QR per pallet, recall in under 60 seconds, ISO 22000 and HACCP records with seven-year immutable retention.
The OT boundary: read-only by default over OPC UA, Modbus TCP and REST. No PLC write without a gated human approval.
Certification status, stated truthfully: ISO 22000 and HACCP record structures are implemented and in use. SOC 2 Type II is in progress — we will not claim it as complete until the report is issued.
Model card
What the model is, and where it stops.
- What the twin models
- Twin-screw extrusion: die pressure, moisture exit, specific mechanical energy, throughput and yield, across screw configuration, die geometry, barrel zones, feed moisture and feedstock class.
- What it is trained on
- Process physics and mass/energy balances, published extrusion benchmarks, equipment envelopes from OEM data sheets, and verified runs from connected lines under governance.
- Where it has been validated
- Twin-screw pilot and production configurations in cereal, snack, fortified rice kernel and texturized protein categories. Validation scope is stated per line.
- Known failure modes
- High-fat confectionery melts, single-screw equipment, wet texturized protein above 60% moisture, and any ingredient without a verified specification.
- Recalibration
- After every verified run on that line, and on model version release. The prediction error is stored per parameter, per line.
Ask for the full model card and we send the current version, including the validation scope per equipment class.
